Nar & Phu Valley Trek

The Nar and Phu valleys are newly opened site for trekking above the tree line in the Upper Mustang Region. The trek offers a combination of high peaks and mountain passes glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, gompas and unique Himalayan cultures. Closed to trekkers until late 2002, very few westerners have explored these virtually untouched areas or climbed many 7000m peaks surrounding it.

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Besishar (760m) & Trek to Khudi (790m)
Day 02: Trek to Bahundanda (1310m)
Day 03: Trek to Tal (1700m)
Day 04: Trek to Chamje (1430m)
Day 05: Trek to Bagarchhap (1430m)
Day 06: Trek to Koto Qupar (2600m)
Day 07: Trek to Dharamsala (3230m)
Day 08: Trek to Kayang (3740m)
Day 09: Trek to Phu (4050m)
Day 10: Rest day at Phu
Day 11: Trek to Junam (3550m)
Day 12: Trek to Nar (4150m)
Day 13: Rest day at Nar
Day 14: Trek to Ngawal (3650m / 7 hrs)
Day 15: Trek to Chame (1430m / 5 hrs)
Day 16: Trek to Pisang (3300m / 6 hrs)
Day 17: Trek to Manang (3540m / 5 hrs)
Day 18: Trek to Letdar (4200m / 4 hrs)
Day 19: Trek to Thorung Phedi (4450m / 6 hrs)

Day 22: Fly Jomsom to Pokhara (900m)
Day 23: Fly/Drive back to Kathmandu
