Lower Dolpo Trek
|
|
The
area located in the central west of Nepal is the Shey-Phoksundo
National Park. Lower Dolpa offers off-the-beaten trek with
flight to Juphal and on to the Phoksundo National Park which
covers an area of 3555 sq. km. This trek gives you a wonderful
chance to experience a landscape and culture far different from
that seen in other parts of Nepal. The least complicated trek to
undertake, and one of the most popular treks in the west of
Nepal. This remote and rugged protected area is attractive both
scenically and culturally. The area is the inhabitant of various
rare and endangered species of wildlife such as snow-leopard,
blue sheep, ghoral, musk deer, wolf and other wildlife and
plants diversity, which can be seen nowhere else in Nepal. No
high Himalayan peaks can be seen except lots of good high
altitude scenery and clear water of Phoksumdo Lake. Trip
