Kyanjing Gompa to Ganjala Pass Trek

It is a camping trek. Walking from the Kyanjin Gompa at the Langtang route south to Tarke Gyang in Helambu involves crossing the 5106m. Ganja La. The pass is usually blocked by snow from December to March and at any time a bad weather change can make crossing the pass decidedly dangerous. The walk takes five days climb between Kyanjing Gompa to Tarke Gyang. There is no permanent settlement. The final climb to the pass on both sides is steep.
