Annapurna Circuit Trek

Widely acknowledged as one of the world's classic treks, this tremendous route starts in Besisahar and makes a long horse-shoe loop of the Annapurna Himal. Mountain and valley views are constantly changing and the initial stages wind among rich terraces of vegetation and give way to the rugged narrows of the Marshyangdi's impressive gorge. This, in turn, gives a somewhat high demanding approach to the Thorong La (5416 m) which is the crux of the circuit trek. On the western side of the Pass the long descend takes approximately 4 to 6 hours to reach the sacred shrine Muktinath revered by both Hindu and Buddhist alike.
